A tiny ornament made out of “Nedun” wood replicates the Sri Lankan elephant. Nedun (Pericopsis mooniana) is found on the western coast, from the southwestern province to the Sabaragamuwa Province, including the hill country in Sri Lanka. This wood is one of the most valuable timber species in Sri Lanka. In addition to decorative purposes, these items can also be used for paper weights.
